Descriptive Analysis of Sports Tourists in Spain

Sports tourism is a decisive factor in geographical mobility for leisure purposes. These activities entail certain acts and consequences inherent their execution, which are worthy of study from the perspective sustainable reasonable tourism. Previous studies tried to show characteristics this type tourist but did not provide relevant information offer necessary services provide, understand patterns habits, be able act correctly. This paper aims profile sports consumer. Data provided by National Institute Statistics year 2019 was analyzed, taking sample 1496 people statistical analysis. From these analyses, key on consumer profiles can gleaned. Findings showed that with Spanish nationality predominate, being mainly men. Both sexes they over 40 years age, higher education, mostly married, cohabitation partner children at home, permanent employment contracts behavior such as use private car, staying hotels or aparthotels. Therefore, point view tourism, it vital draw up consumers evaluate its ecological, environmental, social impact, well appropriate measures balance between sustainability.
